Karuna Manor Care Home Marks 11 Years of Compassionate Care with Vibrant Anniversary Celebration

Karuna Manor Care Home celebrated its 11th Anniversary on Friday, 5 June 2026, with a joyful Hawaiian-themed event that brought together residents, families, staff, healthcare professionals, community members and special guests for an afternoon filled with celebration, gratitude and togetherness.

The milestone event recognised over a decade of delivering compassionate, person-centred care and highlighted the strong relationships that have made Karuna Manor Care Home a trusted part of the Harrow community.

A special highlight of the celebration was the attendance of the Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Yogesh Teli, who joined residents and guests to commemorate the occasion. The Mayor spent time meeting residents, speaking with team members and families, and congratulated the entire team for their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for older people.

The care home was transformed into a tropical paradise, complete with colourful Hawaiian decorations, vibrant floral displays and festive entertainment. Residents and guests enjoyed an afternoon of live music, delicious refreshments, games and activities, creating an atmosphere of warmth, laughter and community spirit. The event provided families with the opportunity to spend quality time with their loved ones while celebrating an important milestone in the home’s history.

Speaking during the event, home manager of Karuna Manor Care Home said:

“Our 11th anniversary is a celebration of much more than the passing of time. It represents eleven years of compassion, dedication and meaningful relationships. Every resident has a unique story, and it is a privilege to be part of their lives. We are incredibly grateful to our residents, their families, our hardworking staff and everyone who has supported us throughout this wonderful journey. We are especially honoured that the Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Yogesh Teli, joined us to celebrate this important milestone.”

“The anniversary celebration also served as an opportunity to recognise the dedication of the care team, whose compassion, professionalism and commitment continue to make a positive difference to the lives of residents and their families. Their tireless efforts have helped create a caring community where residents feel valued, respected and supported every day.”
