Hethersett Hall Care Home Does A Fabb Food Collection

Staff and Residents families at Hethersett Hall in Hethersett have taken part in collecting food for Food and Beverage Buggies (FABB)

Carol McWhinnie the founder had the idea of taking the meals direct to those who need them? She started FABB in September 2018 and the idea evolved quickly into an efficient process of cooking food at home, packing it into tinfoil boxes and delivering it via the buggies along the streets of Norwich, particularly the Prince of Wales Road and St Stephen’s Street areas. The principle is that clients receive a hot meal, and a ‘pack-up’ to see them through the next day.

Residents, their relatives and staff were all very supportive and donated lots of food for this wonderful charity.Elena Sandu Manager at Hethersett Care Home said: “It’s for such an important cause. I’m very glad to be able to do our bit to raise further awareness and food for this charity.”
