Hallmark Care Home Celebrates 25 Years

Hallmark Care Home, Cherry Tree in Caldicot, South Wales celebrated 25 years since it first opened its doors with a vintage tea party for residents, relatives and members of the local community.

The popular residential and nursing home, which welcomed its first residents in 1992, and was acquired by award-winning care provider Hallmark Care Homes 15 years ago recognised individuals who have contributed to its success at the event with prosecco, sweet and savoury treats and musical entertainment.

Throughout the afternoon there was also an opportunity to take a tour of the home’s new luxurious café, and recently refurbished lounge, dining room and hairdressing facilities.

The special event was culminated by speeches from the home’s General Manager Gill Jones and Hallmark Care Homes’ Managing Director, Avnish Goyal.

Hallmark Care Homes Managing Director, Avnish Goyal said: “It is fantastic that we are celebrating Cherry Tree providing 25 years of outstanding relationship-centred care and I am proud that Hallmark Care Homes has been involved in the last 15 years.

“I want to thank everyone who has come along to help celebrate this monumental occasion!”

General Manager, Gill Jones who has worked at the home for 25 years next month said: “We had a fabulous afternoon celebrating our 25th anniversary.

“Cherry Tree Care Home has had an amazing journey over the last 25 years, thanks to the continued support from residents, relatives, team members and member of the local community.

“All of the Cherry Tree family are strongly committed to the home and foster an atmosphere of care and support that enables the residents to fulfil interesting and active lives and I am delighted to have been part of such a wonderful team for the past 25 years. We are looking forward to marking our next milestone!”
