Not-for-profit care provider Greensleeves Care has achieved a ‘Top 20 Large Care Home Group’ Award for 2023 from leading online care home directory, Carehome.co.uk, for the sixth year running.
Greensleeves’ overall review score stands at 9.6 out of 10, the result of 992 reviews received across the organisation’s 28 care homes.
Along with its inclusion in the top large care home group list, Greensleeves Care is also celebrating the individual success of two of its homes in the awards: Harleston House in Lowestoft and Broadlands in Oulton Broad, which were named among the Top 20 Care Homes in the East of England, following both homes’ review scores of 10/10. Broadlands has also proudly held the Top 20 title since 2018.
The annual Carehome.co.uk Awards recognise care home groups according to their ranking, which is based on impartial, independent reviews from care home residents, their families and friends.
Many older people and their families will consult the platform before making a choice about a care placement.
Reviews on the platform cannot be edited or removed by care organisations and are therefore seen as an accurate and honest portrayal of UK care settings.
Julie Clarges, Greensleeves Care’s Director of Quality and Compliance, said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised again as a Top 20 Large Care Home Group. These awards are a direct result of reviews from our residents and their families and friends, and they allow us an excellent insight into how well we are performing, and any areas we can improve our service. Our consistent high scores are a testament to the dedication of our teams and the high-quality care they provide.”
Paul Newman, Chief Executive of Greensleeves Care, said: “Congratulations to my colleagues across our homes for contributing to our winning ratings, and particularly to our teams at Broadlands and Harleston House, who achieved a faultless 10/10. We accept this award as recognition of our continued investment in our residents’ quality of life and as an incentive to be a Top 20 Large Care Home Group for seven years running.”
