Frank Foster House Residents Take an Imaginative Train Journey to Paris for the Olympics

In a creative and memorable event, residents of Frank Foster House, part of the Runwood Homes group, were transported to Paris in their imaginations on 31st of July, thanks to a sensational mock train journey that brought the spirit of the Olympics right to their doorstep.

In an extraordinary day of sensory and nostalgic experiences, the homes common areas were transformed into a whimsical simulation of a train ride to Paris. Residents, guided by the Home Manager, Nicolas, and Frank Foster House team, enjoyed every moment of this inventive event.

The journey was designed to stimulate the senses and evoke fond memories with features such as the evocative aroma of classic trains, reminiscent of journeys from a bygone era. Residents eagerly participated in the immersive experience, which included a playful reenactment of boarding the train and imagining the excitement of the Olympics in Paris.

Nicolas said, “Residents wanted to go on the train and watch the Olympics. We did a pretend train experience with the smell of old-time trains and good memories. It was a wonderful way to connect them with joyful moments from their past.”
