Fabulous Family & Friends Gather For Marys 80th Party At Park House
It was a birthday celebration to remember for resident Mary Whitty who celebrated her 80th birthday at Park House care home . With the guests flown in from Ireland, coordinator Jacqueline helped Mary select her outfit and get ready for her Party at Park, with a pamper session and finishing touch of twisting the scarf together. Mary enjoyed her special day, cutting the delicious birthday cake and sharing cup-cakes, made by Jacqueline’s daughter at Champion Cupcakes. All enjoyed the fabulous spread of food, prepared for the guests, sharing with family and friends, celebrating Marys 80th birthday. Mary has been home at Eastgate Care for nearly two years now.
Care Home Manager, Olesya, helped plan the event at the care home and liaised with me prior to arrival, as living in Ireland means that making arrangements is hard, but this was so much easier with everyone’s support.
Mary’s family singled out a special mention to Jacqueline the Activities Coordinator, who organized the buffet, cakes and decorations – a fantastic job. “Even pampering Mum ready for her party, I can’t praise the efforts enough, everyone went the extra mile for Mary and our family.”
