Cygnet Social Care Expands With New Acquisitions
Cygnet has announced the expansion of its social care services with the acquisition of three specialist care homes previously operated by Oakview Care Services.
Bryn Y Wawr and Clynsaer, two specialist care services in Carmarthenshire, together with The Old Vicarage in Berkshire, are now operated and managed by Cygnet Social Care.
Bryn Y Wawr, in Llandeilo and Clynsaer, in Llandovery, each provide essential residential care and support for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated complex needs. The Old Vicarage, in Hungerford, is registered for up to 13 residents.
Gareth Williams, CEO of Cygnet Social Care, said:
“The acquisitions reflect Cygnet’s ongoing commitment to investing in high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
He added: “We are delighted to welcome these three new services into the Cygnet Social Care division.
“This expansion strengthens Cygnet Social Care’s commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support for individuals with care needs across the UK.
“Our services are residents’ homes and Bryn y Wawr, Clynsaer and The Old Vicarage have built strong reputations for delivering compassionate and tailored care. They align seamlessly with Cygnet’s ethos of empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.”
“We look forward to working with the dedicated staff teams to build on their success and the difference they have made already to their residents. Together, we will continue to provide exceptional care to some of the most vulnerable members of our society, helping them to lead happy, fulfilled lives in environments where they feel safe, valued, and supported.”
