Cramlington Care Home Welcome Pudsey Ahead Of Children In Need 2024

Pudsey Bear visited HC-One’s Hartford Court care home, in Cramlington, Northumberland, ahead of Children in Need 2024.

Residents and colleagues at Hartford Court were thrilled when Pudsey arrived at the 68-bedded residential and residential dementia care home.

Pudsey, along with HC-One’s Hartford Court Wellbeing Coordinator, Ann Callan, made their way throughout the home. Pudsey met each of the residents, colleagues and visitors.

Ann Callan, Wellbeing Coordinator at HC-One’s Hartford Court, commented:
“Everyone was thrilled to see Pudsey and he brought lots of smiles and laughter to our home! Even our colleagues were excited to get a photo with him.”

BBC Children in Need will be taking place on Friday, November 15, 2024. This will mark the 43rd TV Appeal to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people around the UK.

The very first BBC Children in Need telethon was broadcast in 1980, and the annual appeal has continued every year since, taking place each November. It begins at 7pm live on BBC One and finishes at 10pm.

This year’s show will be hosted by celebrity presenters Ade Adepitan MBE, Alex Scott MBE, Chris Ramsey, Mel Giedroyc and Jason Manford. Tune in to see a plethora of hilarious comedy sketches, celebrity appearances, superb performances, and documentary shorts.
