Chris Grayling Quizzed By Care Home Residents

ChrisLinden House care home received a special visit from local MP and Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling; residents had the opportunity to chat about current affairs.

Resident, Noel Doocey, questioned Mr Grayling about the state of public transport, and was left stimulated and delighted by the conversation.

Following the recent refurbishment, Mr Grayling was also shown around the fabulous new facilities the home had to offer, including the personalised front door style bedroom doors, which are a key feature for the dementia care specialists.

Commenting on his visit, The Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP said: “It was great to visit Linden House and view all the improvements they have recently made. The nursing team really do provide an exceptional level of care, endorsed by the elderly residents I met.”

Noel said: “I was delighted to put Mr Grayling through his paces and I really appreciate the opportunity to have had an in-depth conversation with him about transport.

“Though he is a very busy man, it was wonderful that he took the time to come and visit our beautiful home, and I hope he had a fantastic time with us!”
