Chinese New Year At Riverdale Court!

Staff and residents at a Riverdale court care home run by Avante care and Support celebrated Chinese New Year in style, thanks to the staff

Riverdale Court had a day dedicated to Chinese New Year celebrations. There was music, entertainment and opportunities for residents to explore the history of Chinese New Year.

Nicolas Kee Mew, Home Manager of Riverdale Court, said: “Our residents are always interested in learning more about my culture. I thought that there was no better way to learn more do than by holding Chinese New Year celebrations right in the heart of Welling.

Residents enjoyed discovering their Chinese horoscope, tai chi and practising Chinese calligraphy
