Care to Talk? Podcast to go LIVE at Health + Care

The season finale of ‘Care to talk?’ podcast is being recorded LIVE at Health + Care this April – with care teams invited to be part of the audience.

Featuring special guests, the live edition, exclusive to Health + Care, will discuss how best to support the mental health of a care team, with promised tangible “takeaways” that care managers and team leaders can put into action right away.

‘Care to talk?’ is the podcast to help leaders in the care sector look after their own mental health and the people they manage. Tackling difficult issues with warmth, personal experiences and positivity, ‘Care to talk?’ feels like a well-needed catch-up with trusted friends, where the world can be set to rights.

Joining the usual hosts Marc Caulfield and Lee Trueman in this special live edition:
● Anoushka Farouk – Rapid Transformational Therapist® and Spiritual Well-being coach at Aventurine Therapies, who is making it her mission to bring much-needed mental health, emotional and spiritual support to care professionals in the UK, to assist them in delivering high quality, heart-centred care.
● Sophie Crowton – Agincare Registered Manager, offering the perspective of domiciliary care as well as dementia care, and whose passion is to bring high quality care to everyone in her service.
● Karin Brownlie – AbleCare Homes Registered Manager, dedicated and positive, she was named Covid-19 hero for the South West region at the Great British Care Awards.

Host Lee Trueman said:
“along with the rest of the panel I’m pumped for the live season finale of ‘Care to talk?’. I know it’s going to offer really valuable insights to care teams around mental health – that goes both for supporting our frontline workers, as well as what care managers and leaders can do to look after themselves, so that they can support others better.

“We’ve got a great line-up of guests who all bring unique perspectives. It’s going to be such an informative and lively discussion – I can’t wait!”

‘Care to talk?’ LIVE will take place on day 1 of Health + Care (Wednesday 26th April) at 10am in the People and Business Theatre, located within the Residential and Home Care Show.
