Care Group Supports New Recruitment Campaign

Independent-AgeCare providers today put their weight behind a national adult social care workforce recruitment campaign.

The Independent Care Group is backing the Department of Health and Social Care’s campaign and hopes that it succeeds in raising awareness and bringing more people into the profession.

The recruitment campaign says ‘Every day is different when you care’ and is being pushed across advertising, press and social media activity.

The Independent Care Group’s Chair, Mike Padgham said: “We are fully behind the department’s workforce recruitment campaign and very much hope that it helps bring more people into what is an amazing, rewarding career.

“Staff are absolutely central to what we do in care and with figures showing that at any one time there are 110,000 social care vacancies, we all have to do everything we can to raise care’s profile and bring more people in to the sector.”
