Braintree Care Home Resident Celebrates 102nd Birthday

They say age is just a number and for Grace Blangy, resident at St Mary’s Court care home in Braintree, that number is 102.

Celebrating her birthday in style, on the 9 October, Grace was joined by the care workers at St Mary’s Court care home for a tasty lunch in the luxurious gardens.

Grace who has spent the last two years at the residential care home in Braintree said: “I had such a lovely day. I had masses of food, including a birthday cake, and lots of other gifts.

“I spent most of the day chatting with staff and residents and had a very nice meal and a glass of sherry to celebrate.”
