Anchor Are Attending The Social Care Conference On 17 February 2015

Anchor LogoColleagues from Anchor’s Dementia team are presenting a masterclass on our development of person centred dementia care services, at the Social Care Conference in London on 17 February 2015.

Anchor’s National Dementia Services Manager, Joanne Laverty, and Dementia Leads Gill Allatt and David Moore, will discuss Anchor’s journey advancing and promoting person centred dementia care within our care homes around the country.

The conference, entitled Social Care 2015: Better Guidance, Better Care, provides senior health and social care professionals from around the country an opportunity to join the debate on various national policies, funding frameworks and minimum standards under development and already published which have an important impact on their work.

In their presentation, the Anchor team will discuss processes undertaken by the organisation to ensure best practise in the delivery of the highest standards of care for people living with dementia and consider future developments in supporting people with dementia and their families.

The presentation, at The Mermaid Conference and Events Centre in Blackfriars, will start at 12.35pm.

Anchor’s Community Partnership Managers, Jackie Cridlin, Adrian Handley and Jo Bown will also be attending and will be available to discuss our services and approach to care at the Anchor stand in the conference foyer.

You can arrange a meeting with one of the Anchor team via our website or find out more about the conference here.
