Hazel Lodge Care Home Hosts Women’s Health Event

Barchester’s Hazel Lodge care home in Battle has marked Menopause Awareness month, which takes place throughout October by hosting a Women’s Wellness event at the home.

The event which was free to attend, took place on the evening of Thursday 8th October with 20 ladies from the community coming to listen to women’s health experts offering advice on how to live well before, during and after the menopause. Attendees were provided with complimentary refreshments to enjoy whilst they listened to various topics from HRT, hair loss to nutrition and exercise and then had the opportunity to share experiences and ask questions before the end of the evening.
