Care Show Team Run For Fun To Support Dementia UK

On Thursday 4 June, 31 members of UBM’s Care Show team ran, walked and in some cases ‘limped’ four miles from their offices in London’s Blackfriars to Regent’s Park, raising £1,140 for Dementia UK and Admiral Nurses.

Each member of the team willing to take the four-mile challenge donated £20 to the cause beforehand, boosted by sponsorship from loyal team supporters.

Care Show has recently announced its collaboration with the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) to hold the International Dementia Conference, to run alongside Care Show and Dementia Care Show on 3-4 November 2015 in Birmingham. This collaborative event will be the first of its kind in the UK. The Fun Run was organised by individual Care Show team members who have pledged to raise money for Dementia UK and Admiral Nurses and their work for families battling with Dementia.

Care Show and Dementia Care Show is the UK’s largest exhibition for suppliers of education, products and services for those responsible for the care of older people across the UK.
