We Care Group Appoints New Manager at Preston Care Home

We Care Group, provider of care, nursing and dementia homes based in the North of England, has appointed a new manager at Banksfield Nursing Home in Preston.

With more than 14 years of experience in the health and social care sector, Rohan Mathew will oversee the overall leadership and daily operations at Banksfield, which provides accommodation for up to 42 individuals who require nursing, residential or dementia care.

Having worked across both the public and private sectors, Rohan’s background includes experience as a registered nurse within acute rehabilitation units, cardiology and neuro specialist units, A&E, AMU and palliative care. Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care, he has also taken on senior leadership roles including clinical lead, deputy manager and registered home manager, and has commissioned a luxury care home.

In his previous role as a registered home manager, Rohan played a key role in stabilising the service, enhancing resident outcomes, and strengthening relationships with families and external partners.

Using his extensive experience in the sector, Rohan has now turned his attention to ensuring regulatory compliance, driving quality and governance standards, supporting staff development and promoting a culture of safety, compassion and continuous improvement at Banksfield.
