Nottinghamshire-Based Care Group Achieves Level 2 Disability Confident Employer Status

Nottinghamshire care provider Church Farm Care has been awarded the Level 2 Disability Confident Employer status for all five homes within its group.

This milestone follows three years during which the homes within the group were Disability Confident Committed, and the progression highlights the organisation’s commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment, and attracting, recruiting, retaining and developing disabled employees across its entire workforce.

As a Disability Confident Employer, Church Farm Care has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting equal opportunities for people with disabilities. This includes a range of actions that ensure the recruitment process is accessible, with efforts such as actively encouraging disabled candidates to apply for roles, making adjustments to interview processes and offering disability equality awareness training to all employees. In addition, the company offers a variety of supportive measures for its employees, such as wellbeing sessions with an in-house advocate, ensuring all team members have the resources they need to thrive in their roles.
