Mince Pies And Creating Merry Ties From Local Care Home

The Great British Bake Off might be over for another year but try telling that to staff and residents at Barchester’s Stamford Bridge Beaumont care home, in Stamford Bridge who have been baking up a storm.

Beaumont’s residents and staff have been busy creating hundreds of mince pies to gift to the local community to say thanks to for all their support during 2025.

Staff have delivered batches of freshly baked mince pies to Home Instead Pocklington/Beverley where they had the immense pleasure of meeting Tina, Caroline and the team, Hague & Dixon Solicitors, Clubleys Estate Agents, shops and businesses for all the key workers and volunteers

General Manager, Emma Smith said:
“Christmas is a time for giving and we wanted to thank so many wonderful members of our community who give their time to support us.  It is so important to give back – we hope our gifts bring lots of joy to everyone who samples them.”

Brian, a resident at Stamford Bridge Beaumont said:
“I have always loved baking and it makes me so happy to think that all our lovely friends and neighbours will be enjoying our bakes, after all is there really anything more delicious than a freshly baked home-made mince pie?!”
