Melbourn Springs Donates £900 to The Parish Church of All Saints for Refurbishment Works
Melbourn Springs Care Home has proudly donated £900 to The Parish Church of All Saints, Melbourn, supporting essential refurbishment works that will help preserve the church’s role as a welcoming space for the local community. The donation was made possible through proceeds raised at the home’s recent Dog Show, alongside contributions from the Barchester Staff Lottery, which donates 50% of its monthly proceeds to local charities and community projects.
The event brought together residents, families, and local dog lovers for a joyful afternoon celebrating companionship and community spirit.
“We’re always looking for ways to give back to the community around us,” said Vimu, Acting General Manager at Melbourn Springs. “Supporting the refurbishment of The Parish Church of All Saints means helping to maintain a space that brings people together—and that’s something we value deeply.”
The funds will go toward maintaining and improving the church’s facilities, ensuring it remains a vital hub for worship, support, and community events.
