Lights, Camera, Action At Bedwas Care Home

Residents, families, and friends at HC-One Wales’s Parklands Care Home in Bedwas, Caerphilly, recently enjoyed a dazzling day of fashion, fun, and friendship as the home hosted its very own fashion show.

The event was a resounding success, with the lounge buzzing with chatter, laughter, and lively discussions about style, colours, and the latest looks. It offered a wonderful glimpse into what a Saturday shopping trip might feel like, complete with all the hustle and bustle.

The clothes were brought into the home by the Classic Clothing company. The stars of the show were the home’s very own models. Family members Karen Clash and Jan Riddiford took to the “catwalk” with confidence and glamour, while team member, Lewis Riddiford, proudly showcased the gents’ collection. Their enthusiasm and spirit made the afternoon truly unforgettable.

Parklands was also delighted to welcome friends from HC-One Wales’s Church View Care Home. The event wouldn’t have been the same without the support and participation of family members and the dedication of the team on the day.

The show was met with such excitement that residents and families have already requested a Christmas fashion show, perfect for picking out gifts and getting into the festive spirit.
