Calverton Care Home Residents Welcome MP for Special Visit

Residents and colleagues at HC-One’s Springwater Lodge Care Home in Calverton, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, were delighted to welcome a special visitor, Michelle Welsh, MP for Sherwood East, on Thursday 31st July.

MP Michelle Welsh was accompanied on a guided tour of the 41-bedded residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care home. During her visit, MP Michelle Welsh explored the home’s facilities, including the lounge, dining room, quiet room, and the beautiful garden.

MP Michelle Welsh spent time chatting with residents and colleagues, hearing first-hand about daily life at Springwater Lodge and the home’s vital role within the local Calverton community.

Camelia Bran, Home Manager at HC-One’s Springwater Lodge Care Home, said: “We were delighted to welcome MP Michelle Welsh to Springwater Lodge. Her visit provided a valuable opportunity for our residents to share their personal experiences and discuss the issues that matter most to them.
