Harrowgate Community and Care Groups Host Community Tech Café

Gracious Street Methodist Church, alongside its partners Right at Home Harrogate, Knaresborough Connectors and Thistle Hill Care Centre, recently welcomed members of the community to its recurring Tech Support Café, as part of the Digitally Connected Knaresborough initiative.

The event welcomed seniors and members of the wider community who were able to drop in and receive friendly support and advice on a variety of technology-related topics.

Visitors were invited to ask for help with everything from mobile phones, computers, tablets and iPads to smart speakers, apps, streaming services, accessing the internet and even questions about artificial intelligence. Guests could bring along their own devices or borrow one at the event, with questions at all levels welcomed.

The Tech Support Café takes place from 1pm on the third Monday of each month, providing a relaxed and friendly environment where members of the community can build their confidence with technology while enjoying refreshments and sweet treats.

Following its summer break in August, the café returned on Monday 21st September.
