Greensleeves Homes Trust Recognises Staff Achievements

Oval Room HRGreensleeves Homes Trust held its annual Accolades Awards at the Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall on 25 March. The Trust places great importance in recognising the dedication and hard work of its staff and the Awards are a way of celebrating the achievements staff throughout the year.

There are 10 Accolades Awards including Home of the Year, Manager of the Year and Carer of the Year. In addition, the programme recognised members of staff who had been in service with the Trust for 10 and 20 years, with one employee being recognised for her 40 years of service at Mount Ephraim House in Tunbridge Wells. There was also recognition in a roll of honour of 11 of the Trust’s homes that had received external awards.

Debbie Sorkin, Chief Executive at National Skills Academy for Social Care, opened the ceremony, speaking on “The role of leadership in resident engagement”. The Skills Academy aims to strengthen leadership at all levels of the social care workforce and beyond.

Paul Newman, Chief Executive at Greensleeves Homes Trust commented: “The Accolades Awards is a highlight in the Greensleeves’ calendar which recognises the fantastic work which our staff carry out day in and day out on behalf of our residents, and I look forward with much anticipation to next year’s awards.”
