A social care provider has won an award for their education and training department in the annual Business Matters Awards.
Avens Ltd. were lucky to receive the award on Friday September 13th (unlucky for some!) at a glittering award ceremony in Copthorne. They were shortlisted with several other prestigious companies from across the area.
The company provides training and education for 180 members of staff enabling them to provide a high standard of care for the 98 individuals that Avens Ltd cares for. The judges were impressed that the company has set up and developed its own successful in-house training system allowing staff to access their training online at any time.
Magda Orlikowska one of Avens in-house trainers and assessors attended the awards ceremony said: “We were absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted, to win is absolutely fantastic and an honour. It is tremendous to be recognized in an area that is extremely important to us and the standard of care that we deliver.”
Head office for the company is based within the residential care home in Crowborough, East Sussex from where the company’s care agency which has branches across the county, is managed. Avens currently provides care and support for 98 individuals across Sussex and in their second branch based in Northamptonshire
