2014 Conference: Palliative Care In The Community – Making A Difference In Practice – Call For Abstracts

Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Palliative Care Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) are calling for abstracts to be presented at their Conference on Friday, 28th March, 2014 at the Royal Society of Medicine, London.

The Marie Curie Annual Palliative Care Research Conference, held jointly with the Palliative Care Section of the RSM, will include expert researchers who work to improve palliative care in community settings. The presentations will focus on research into quality of care at home, experiences of caring for a dying person at home, effective community care teams, and care homes.

Abstracts for short presentations and/or posters on research in palliative and end of life care are invited. Whilst abstracts relevant to palliative care in the community are more likely to be chosen for oral presentation, submissions on any subject in palliative and end of life care are welcome. There will also be awards for the best poster presentations.
