Staff And People Living At Stocks Hall St Helens Came Together For One Of The Biggest Race Days In The UK’s Calendar

Stocks Hall St HelensJust days before one of the biggest horse racing events of the year, ladies and gentleman who live at the home thought it would be a great activity to design their own personalised jockey t-shirts to wear for Saturday’s big race.

‘Vibrant colours with a personal twist’ were all that were needed to meet the racecourse etiquette at Stocks Hall.  Each t-shirt was unique to each person….colourful designs, favourite numbers and even some with their ‘favourite race time tipple’ – it was certainly very fun and equally creative and special.

Everyone came together in the lounges on Saturday to enjoy the thrill of big race, proudly wearing their fashionable masterpieces.

Lucy Peters, Activities staff at Stocks Hall St Helens said, “It was wonderful to see everyone coming together to cheer their horses to the winning post.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed making their t-shirts and certainly helped to get in the spirit of things when race day arrived.”

Lucy said, “Stocks Hall are delighted to celebrate historic events such as the Grand National, it gives the people living with us the opportunity to reminisce, share fond memories and have fun.”
