Sports Fest at Kingston Care Home

Kingston Care Home has launched its first ever Sports Fest Event! It was composed of two teams – team Edna Cruickshank and team Marie Ulici. Each team had 5 residents who were competing against each other.

The games that comprised Sports Fest were Slipper Soccer, Clock Cricket and Armchair Volleyball, all of which have recently been introduced to the Magic Moments sports programme. The residents had lots of fun during the event and they were all eager to participate.

Residents unanimously agreed that they would like to do it again as they thought the competition and the new sports were ‘energising and fun’.

The event ended with a smile on each of the residents’ faces and they all displayed excellent sportsmanship. Both teams were winners and they can’t wait for a rematch!
