Healthcare Professionals Encouraged To Register For Pancreatic Cancer UK Study Days

Healthcare professionals who support people with pancreatic cancer are being invited to register for free study days to be held by Pancreatic Cancer UK.

The charity is hosting two study events in June, and each day-long event will provide a thorough overview of supporting people with pancreatic cancer, from diagnosis to palliative care. They are open to all healthcare professionals who care for people with the disease, including clinical nurse specialists, ward nurses, district and palliative care nurses, private sector nurses, GPs and all specialist dieticians.

The first event is on Friday 5th June and will be in partnership with Addenbrooke’s Pancreatic Unit in Cambridge. The event will be held at Cancer Research UK’s Cambridge Institute, Robinson Way, Cambridge, CB2 0RE. People need to register by Tuesday 26th May.

To register for this event, email hpnetwork@pancreaticcancer.org.uk or call the charity’s Pancreatic Cancer Nurse Specialist, Jeni Jones, on 07500 665801.

The second free event will be held in Northern Ireland on Thursday 18th June in partnership with the Mater Hospital in Belfast. Details are to be confirmed, but the content will be similar and the event will be open to the same audiences. Healthcare professionals can register their interest by emailing hpnetwork@pancreaticcancer.org.uk.
