Fundraising Christmas Fayre At Bethel House Care Home In Barton-On-Sea Is A Great Success

christmas fayre 2014 015Residents at Bethel House residential care home in Barton-on-sea, thoroughly enjoyed their recent charity Christmas Fayre.

Residents and staff were joined by friends, relatives and visitors at the fundraising event in December. There were lots of lovely stalls including a flower stall, a cake and sweet stall, and a raffle with some fabulous prizes. The Alzheimer’s Association also had their own stall which gave everyone the opportunity to find out more about the charity.

Bethel House also received a visit from Santa who spent some time giving out gifts and talking to the residents and visitors about what they love about Christmas.

A huge thank you to everyone, including staff, residents, friends and families, who helped to make this event such a great success. The event raised over £114.oo which will donated to the Alzheimer’s Association (see below).

Home Manager, Debbie Decaon said “This was a wonderful opportunity for residents to spend time with their friends and relatives, meet new people and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon whilst raising money for a very worthwhile charity in the process. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the event so successful and to everyone who supported us on the day.”
