Free Business Briefing In Brighton

Citation, one of the UK’s leading Health & Safety, HR & Employment Law and ISO providers, and global insurance provider Aon will host a business briefing in Brighton on Wednesday 29 June 2016.

Free to attend, the informative business briefing is taking place at the AMEX Stadium, focusing on the care sector in particular.

It is the first time Citation and Aon have hosted a business briefing together, with early feedback indicating that it will be well attended by care home owners and registered managers looking for professional support in the workplace.

Barbara McClean and Steve Shaw will speak on behalf of Aon, talking about the Insurance Act and the forthcoming changes in August.  Reviewing its impact and understanding what these changes mean will be essential for care home owners, as it is the first time this law has be changed in 110 years.

Tracy Winter, from Citation, will discuss legislative changes, staff retention and engagement.  With a Masters Degree in Safeguarding Law, and having previously worked as both a nurse and midwife before retraining as a barrister, Tracy is always in high demand with the Care Association as a speaker at their events.  From successful recruitment to managing the impacts of the National Living Wage, Tracy will talk about the key parts of legislation that affect the care home sector and provide top tips for a happy and engaged workforce.
