Fred Dinenage Opens Netley Court

NetleyCourtGrandOpening_800x534Fred Dinenage, MBE, has officially opened Netley Court in Netley Abbey, Hampshire, a purpose-designed care home fully equipped to provide residential and dementia care, including permanent care, respite and day care services all under one roof.

The launch was held on Thursday 4th June between 12 noon and 2pm and was attended by the members of Eastleigh Borough Council, the Vice-chairman of Hound Parish Council, Maureen Queen, representatives from the local community and children from Netley Abbey Junior School.

Guests were able to see first-hand the extraordinary attention to detail that has dictated the design of Netley Court, courtesy of Hartford Care employees who acted as knowledgeable tour guides led by manager, Geraint Williams. They were also able to sample some of the chefs’ delicious home-made fayre and raise a glass to the arrival of the best possible care for older people in Netley Abbey.

Sean Gavin, Hartford Care’s CEO, welcomed guests to Netley Court and commented “We are very proud of each of our Homes and Netley Court is a product of all the experiences that we have enjoyed and learned from many years of providing great care. Our ethos at Hartford Care is simple – we seek to provide a caring, comfortable and happy environment where our residents can enjoy life to the full, secure in the knowledge that, in every respect, their needs are taken care of. Whilst the physical attributes of a home are important we believe that it is the people within our Homes that make them special – a place where care, comfort and companionship can be found.”

After touring the home, Fred Dinenage commented “Netley Court is absolutely stunning – it completely took my breath away.  The attention to detail in the design is outstanding and the staff team so clearly care about their residents.  Netley Court has changed my view of life in a care home.  I can feel that it is going to be a very special place for those lucky enough to live there.”

Stan Rickard, a member of the local community said “The day was absolutely superb! The weather was beautiful, the staff were amazing and the food was delicious! I am very proud to have watched this project grow from the beginning to the successful launch of Netley Court Care Home which took place today”.

Barbara Webb, family carer of Peter Webb continued to say “The Official Opening of Netley Court Care home was organized to the highest standard, well catered, with a wide variety of home-made canapés. Peter has thoroughly enjoyed the day and feels that living at Netley Court is a privilege”.

Councilor, Diccon Bright from Eastleigh Bough Council said “The day was lovely and the new care home is magnificent”.
