Charity Launches New Information Centre During Carers Week

Disability charity Papworth Trust will celebrate Carers Week (8 to 14 June 2015) with the launch of a new Information Centre for disabled people and carers.

The new Information Centre will be holding an open event on Friday 12 June at Saxongate in Huntingdon which will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm. The opening has been timed to coincide with Carers Week and is primarily aimed at informal carers who may not know what information and support is out there to help them.

Carers will be invited to chat to staff, ask questions and take away leaflets about the services available. They will also be given free goody bags from the charity, with gifts including tea bags, hand cream and chocolate.

The Information Centre manager Caroline said,

“This service will provide a really easy way for people to find the information they need about the help available. Please come along to pick up a free Carers goody bag and to find out how we can support you.”
